Born in 1126 C.E. Abu al-Walid Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Rushd, otherwise known as just Ibn Rushd or Averroes, was destined for greatness. taking the aristotelian thought with a new mind, as islamic one, he changed many views and ideas that existed during his time, as well as inspired many new philosophers to his thought. Born in Spain during its Islamic era, he grew up with a new perspective of philosophy contrary to many philosophers and scientists that existed during his time. He had attended a school thought to be the ‘usual’ during his time, where his lessons started with the learning of Hadith, linguistics, jurisprudence, as well as scholastic theology. He believed in an open relationship between Religion and science, nothing is inappropriate to discuss between them in his perspective. Acknowledged as one of the great philosophers of time, he spread his word through many different ways, including his commentaries on Aristotle’s work, the responses through articles and books to the people that believe his work is against Islam, as he found a point between science and religion, and made sure to question religion with a scientific eye in his philosophies, as well as his construction of a sect or form of Aristotelianism that made sure to ‘cleanse’ the philosophy into something  more believable as well as critical, he had also spread his work through many other forms. he was regarded as the last influential Spanish-Muslim philosopher, at least mostly by his followers who believed that his philosophy is most interesting, as well as thoughtful as he is believed to be one of the first not to side with either Religion nor science but rather both.
