Mariam Fayed  10 T Ibn Sina (Avicenna) His childhood and education   Abū ʿAlī al-Ḥusayn ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn Sīnā, commonly known as Ibn Sina or his Latinized name (Avicenna) was a Persian scientist that was born in 980 A.D. in Bukhara which is currently in Uzbekistan. He was a great scientist that wrote almost 450 different treatises on a wide range of subjects, but mainly on philosophy and medicine. He spent his early year in Bukhara and started his journey of education, and by the age of ten he had memorized and studied The Holy Qur’an and was very intelligent especially in his sciences studies. As his thinking was very logical he started studying philosophy and engaging in many cultures like Greek and Muslim philosophies. He also studied many other topics and went deeper into this topic as he was inspired by the great philosopher of the time who was known as Abu Abdallah Natili. Ibn Sina was extremely intelligent even at a very young age, he was even awarded with a great degree of knowledge in medicine. Due to his great knowledge, studies, and interest in this field, at the age of 17 he had the great honor and was surprisingly able to cure the King of Bikhhara, Nooh Ibn Mansoor. As time passed and Ibn Sina grew older and achieved more in his life, he wrote his first book at the age of 21. By this time, he was well known of his great academic skills and knowledge in this field in the community or city that he lived in, Bukhara. Later on, he moved to different cities and  countries and helped cure many people along his journey, and was awarded. As his study life contiunues, he completes many of him...
